Kiwanis Club Of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City Donates To Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks

Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks Director Sonya Bounds accepts a $500 donation from Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City President Dick Clagett at the April 16 weekly meeting in the Ocean Pines Community Center. The donation will help to support the OPA’s summer camp program which annually serves about 130 children from age 4 to 14 each summer.

11th Annual St. Jude OC Walk Event Raises $30K

Last weekend’s 11th Annual St. Jude OC Walk raised $5,000, raising the grand total for the event to $30,000. Money raised helps children with catastrophic illnesses and research conducted at St. Jude Children’s Hospital is shared world-wide with doctors and scientists.
