Worcester Prep Doles Out Spring Awards
12 Letter Club

BERLIN- After the dust settled after another highly successful season, Worcester Prep last week announced its spring sports award recipients.

For the boys’ varsity lacrosse team, which won the Eastern Shore Independent Athletic Conference (ESIAC) championship, Max Bisaha was named Most Valuable Player, while Patrick Petrera won the Coach’s Award and Cooper Richins was named Most Improved. For the girls’ varsity lacrosse team, which also won its ESIAC championship, Leigh Lingo was named MVP, Julie Talbert took home the Coach’s Award and Chloe Ruddo was named Most Improved.

For the boys’ varsity tennis team, which won its ESIAC title, Adam Pizza was named MVP, Zach Wilson won the Coach’s Award and Graham Hammond was named Most Improved. The Worcester Prep girls’ varsity tennis team also won its ESIAC championship. Eva Parks and Stormy McGuinness were named Co-MVPs, Anchita Batra won the Coach’s Award and Annika Larsen was named Most Improved.

Ten Worcester Prep senior student-athletes joined the school’s 12-Letter Club for lettering in three sports in each of their four upper-school years. Joining the 12-Letter Club were Luke Buas, Owen Nally, Madison Bescak, Olivia Bescak, Leigh Lingo, Regan Lingo, Kathleen Emcke, Karlie Southcomb, Melissa Laws and Eva Parks.
