OC Car, Truck Show This Weekend

OCEAN CITY — The 15th Annual OC Car & Truck Show, produced by Live Wire Media & Events, returns to the Roland E. Powell Convention Center this weekend, June 11-12.

Sponsored by Berlin Automotive Group and Holly Kia, Sound Fx, APAC Power 101.7, AWD Meets, stayNmoise, Forever Slammed and Impulse Automotive, the event hours are Saturday, June 11, 10 a.m.-9 p.m., and Sunday, June 12, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The event is in its 15th year of bringing in some of the top custom cars in the country to Ocean City. At this year’s event, several cars never before seen will be debuting. The outside show will have over 800 cars, some of which will be judged, while some will be hanging out in the OC AWD meet area and OC Takeover meet area. Bringing in a new hostess, APAC presents Vicki Li as host and spokes model.

There will be several live debuts of some of the freshest builds in the country. Crolls Customs is bringing out a world famous Porsche. It’s called the RWB. Prince APAC is bringing the F Cancer GTR build for Andrew Lee. This is special because it’s for the son of Bruce Lee. Andrew’s son has a rare terminal form of kidney cancer that he was diagnosed with after his first year at college. This car is being built to raise awareness and money to help find a cure for kidney cancer.

Hundreds of impressive rides will be on display, from wild custom cars featured in magazines to all-wheel drive creations, exotic and luxury cars, over the top tuners, slammed to the ground trucks. At this show the cars are the stars and Ocean City is the walk of Fame for 2 days.

In addition to an impressive lineup of vendors, the always fun Miss OC Car Show bikini contest has a cash purse to the winner that happens Saturday around 4 p.m.

Awards and trophies will be given out Saturday and Sunday to the car show winners.
Additionally, Berlin Auto Group & Holly Kia will be on-site at the event conducting drive and rides with some of their vehicles.

This year Wordsmith will appear live on stage Saturday along with Power 101.7 DJs.

A new addition inside the convention center this year is the SoTrendy model and social media lounge.

“Each and every year we pride ourselves on being a family friendly event. Something to see and do for all. It’s a true automotive and youth culture event,” said Live Wire Media’s Brad Hoffman.

Tickets for the general public available at the door. If space is still available, cars can also register day of the event onsite.
