BERLIN- Former Decatur men’s lacrosse standout Brandon Terlizzi continues to make his mark at the next level, earning Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) All-Second Team honors at Marywood University and being named the school’s Most Valuable Player.
Terlizzi was named to the CSAC All-Second Team this season after winning 56.3 percent of his faceoffs at Marywood. He shattered the school’s all team single season record with 188 faceoff wins, beating the old mark by 71. He also set Marywood’s single season record for ground balls with 94 and has 6.24 ground balls per game average was second in the CSAC as a sophomore.
While at Decatur, Terlizzi was named a First Team All Bayside South All-Star and was a team captain and unsung hero. He also excelled at wrestling as a Seahawk, placing third in the Bayside Conference and sixth in the East Region. His accomplishments at Decatur were not limited to sports. He was a four-time Minds in Motion award winner and a four-time WeXL Scholastic Award winner. He is the son of Bob and Tesa Terlizzi of Ocean City and is majoring in athletic training at Marywood.
