Worcester Boys Continue Mid-Season Rally

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s boys’ varsity lacrosse team swept three games in the last week to overcome a difficult start to the season and nudge closer to the .500 mark.

Last Monday, Worcester beat Delmarva Christian, 19-2, as Harrison Brennan led Worcester with six goals and an assist, while Thomas Buas scored four goals and contributed an assist. Wyatt Richins scored twice and dished out two assists, while Gordon Abercrombie finished with two goals and an assist.

Back in action last Wednesday, the Worcester boys routed Salisbury School, 18-5. Richins led the way with nine goals and four assists, while Abercrombie scored five goals and dished out two assists. Jon Adkins and Sam Deeley each scored a goal and dished out three assists.

On Monday, Worcester’s mini-roll continued with a 13-5 win over visiting Indian River. Richins scored six goals and an assist, while Brennan scored four times and also had two assists. Brennan also scooped up 17 faceoffs in the win.
