Berlin Intermediate School’s Chess Club has begun its 2010-2011 season. Snow Hill Elementary School students and staff participate in a monthly walking program called ACES (All Children Exercise Simultaneously). In honor of Constitution Day, sixth grade students in Jennifer Garton’s math class at Berlin Intermediate School uncovered the mathematical magic of Benjamin Franklin’s square, by finding the patterns within the numbers and finally connecting the numbers with yarn in order to see the symmetrical geometric design.
