Lindsay Birckhead-Morton, a fourth grade student at Snow Hill Middle, was selected as a 2014 Carson Scholar by the Carson Scholars Fund. She will receive a $1,000 scholarship award to be invested for college.
Titanium Wrecks, FRC Robotics Team 4945, is a new, private and community-based robotics team located in Worcester County. The team recently won the Rookie All Star Award at the DC Regional Competition. The team will now move on to the World Championships in St. Louis next month.
