Mrs. Lankford’s High School Transition Class at Cedar Chapel Special School is busy baking, packaging and marketing dog treats for animal lovers’ as Valentine’s Day gifts. The students voted on naming the packaged gift “I Love My Dog Treats!”
Ocean City in 1915 was a small village with about 600 residents. Most of the men worked as commercial fishermen or on the railroad while the women managed the hotels and boarding houses. The Dragon and Diamondback teams at Stephen Decatur Middle School recently completed an interdisciplinary research project on the history of slavery. After completing their research, students chose a variety of presentation formats for their report, including newspaper and video.
