Captain John Prather of Ocean City Guide Service celebrated the 4th of July by putting some anglers on a great day of fishing that ended with five keeper flounder and two stud bluefish.
The Fish Bound with Captain Kane Bounds and Captain Kevin Twilley has been putting in the work and putting their crews on some good fishing. Flounder, sea bass, tilefish and most recently Spanish mackerel have all found their way to folks freezers.
Curt Presnell and his son Cody only had one bite offshore today, but it was a good one and this 62 pound yellowfin tuna fell to the gaff.
Dustin Koehler caught this nice 20″ sea bass while fishing the African Queen wreck.
Wayne Breneman of Lancaster, PA caught this jumbo 23″, 10 pound sheepshead on a sand flea while fishing the north sea wall on the OC inlet.
12-year-old Matthew Brannan was fishing with his dad Brian when he landed seven keeper sea bass on ocean structure.

Dave Neumayer and his son Chase found some keeper flounder behind Assateague Island in clean water today. Chases’s fish was 18.5” and Dave’s was 16.75” and caught in the Deadly Double in pink.
Captain Chris Mizurak of the Angler had a tough bite today, but he did manage some nice fish with several nice sea bass and keeper flounder coming over the rail.
Captain Monty Hawkins of the Morning Star enjoyed some beautiful weather and some good fishing on today’s trip…..and he’s right about MRIP.
