BERLIN- Something has to give on Friday when Decatur’s varsity football team takes on winless county rival Snow Hill at home.
For years, Decatur and Snow Hill have faced off in the regular season finale for both teams and typically the game means more for one or the other in terms of post-season eligibility. This year, however, Friday’s game between the Seahawks and the Eagles boils down to the opportunity to get in the win column after a difficult season.
Decatur has gone winless thus far this year although they have continued to battle and have remained competitive. The same can be said for Snow Hill, which has also gone winless against many of the same opponents. Barring an unusual tie, one team will add a win to its record on Friday. Game time is 6 p.m. at Seahawk Stadium.
