Fall Sports Underway- Evidence of another fall high school sports season was evident all over the region on Wednesday with friendly neighborhood rivals Stephen Decatur and Worcester Prep scrimmaging in boys’ and girls’ soccer and field hockey. Pictured above, the Decatur and Worcester Prep girls’ soccer teams congratulate each other after a well-played scrimmage early in the season. Pictured below, Seahawk and Mallard field hockey players battle for a loose ball on an adjacent field at Worcester Prep. Both school’s regular fall sports seasons will be in full effect next week although Decatur’s varsity football team begins its 2016 campaign on the road tonight against Bohemia Manor.
