At Candy Kitchen, she was the “American mother” to the foreign students working at the store and went out of her way to make their stays easier. She loved to travel, relax in the sun, dance and spend time with family and friends. Sandy also enjoyed reconnecting in recent years with her Georgetown High School Class of 1961 classmates.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ocean City Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 27, 1409 Philadelphia Avenue, Ocean City, Md. 21842.
