BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s varsity baseball gave up an early lead in the season opener against Queen Anne’s on Tuesday before settling down and getting the bats going on the way to a 6-3 win over the Lions.

The Seahawks scuffled a little out of the gate and Queen Anne’s held a 3-0 lead in the middle of the third. Decatur’s Bailey Littleton got the Seahawks on the board with a  single run in the fourth, and Tristan McDonough launched a two-run homer in the fifth to tie the game at 3-3. In the sixth, Decatur got two walks to start the inning and a pair of doubles by Lane Dillon and McDonough sealed the 6-3 win in the opener. McDonough led the Seahawks with three RBIs in the game.
