Paul Anthony Meredith

OCEAN CITY — Paul Anthony “Tony” or “Uncle Tony” Meredith, age 72, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2015 at his home.

Born in Baltimore City, he was the son of the late Earnest Joseph Meredith and Doris Whiteford Meredith. He is survived by his brothers, William Meredith of Ocean City, Denis C. Meredith and his wife Karen of Churchville, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mr. Meredith was co-owner of a Security business along with his twin brother, William. He was a member of the Ducks Unlimited and a former member of the Ocean City Golf Club. Tony enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.

Francis Xavier Donohue

OCEAN VIEW — In the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2015, Francis Xavier Donohue passed away at his home in Ocean View, Del.

He was born on March 9, 1932 in Baltimore. He was the son of the late John and Agnes Donohue. He graduated from Calvert Hall in 1950 with perfect attendance as well as straight A’s. He joined the Navy in 1950 and served for four years during the Korean War. From 1958 to 1960, he attended Loyola College. In 1960, he married Eleanore Albers.

Francis worked at ADT until his retirement in 1991. He volunteered for 25 years at the Cockeysville Recreation Department and 25 years after his retirement at the Ocean City Recreation Department. For his volunteer work in Ocean City, he received the Key to the City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving son, Patrick Joseph Donohue; his grandson, Michael Francis Donohue, Jr.; his brother, Jack Donohue; and brother-in-law, Robert Morris.

Francis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Eleanore Teresa Donohue (nee Albers); his children, Michael Francis Donohue, Sr (Kim), Jean Marie Cochran (Jeff), Brian John Donohue, and Timothy Keith Donohue (Deborah); a sister, Mary Adele Morris; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many sister and brother-in-law’s, nieces and nephews.

Services were held. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Francis’s memory to St. Ann’s Catholic Church at the above address.
