SD High School Math Teacher Brenda Hommel Honored By WMDT

Stephen Decatur High School math teacher Brenda Hommel was pleasantly surprised last week when her class was briefly interrupted by representatives from WMDT who honored her as this month’s Teacher Who Makes a Difference. Hommel was nominated by her Salisbury University intern Sylviya Gallo and was featured on WMDT that evening. A former Worcester County Teacher of the Year, Hommel has been teaching for over 20 years in the Worcester County Public Schools system.
