OCEAN CITY — A Parkville, Md. man was arrested on drunk-driving charges last weekend after striking parked cars and then rolling his vehicle onto its roof in the area of 21st Street early last Sunday morning.

Around 1:15 a.m. last Sunday, Ocean City Police responded to the area of 21st Street and Baltimore Ave. for a reported motor vehicle collision. The investigation revealed a vehicle struck two parked cars along Baltimore Ave. before hitting a curb and rolling onto its roof on the median strip.

The driver, identified as Raymond S. Dashiell, 21, of Parkville, was later arrested after failing to complete a series of field sobriety tests. Dashiell has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and reckless driving. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner and was released on personal recognizance pending trial.

For Dashiell, the arrest in Ocean City last weekend comes on the heels of an arrest and conviction on drunk-driving charges in Baltimore County in November 2013.

In that case, Dashiell last June entered a plea agreement that included probation, which he was still on at the time of the incident in Ocean City last Sunday morning.
