Student Submissions Sought For Charity’s Logo Contest

BERLIN — Worcester County GOLD recently launched a Logo Contest, which is open to local high school students.

Worcester County GOLD is a non-profit organization that provides financial aid to families in crisis, vulnerable adults and children in foster care. Helping Hands for the Holidays, Backpacks for Students, Scholarships for Camps and emergency funds for those in immediate need are just a few ways that GOLD helps the citizens of Worcester County every day.

GOLD would like a new logo that fully represents all that the organization does to help the citizens of Worcester County. The contest  is open to Worcester County High School art or graphic design students.

The logo should incorporate the color gold and should represent the mission of GOLD. It can be completed in a digital format or in traditional paper format.

In addition to being recognized at a local unveiling event, the winner will receive a $100 award. The contest entry should be submitted to Claire Otterbein, GOLD Executive Director, at [email protected]. Contest deadline is Jan. 30.

Please include in the entry email the student’s name, phone number and email; parent name, phone number and email; and teacher name, phone number and email.
