Beach Lacrosse Seeking Players, Coaches

BERLIN- Registration for the upcoming Beach Lacrosse Program season is now open as the club prepares for its 22nd year.

Beach Lacrosse, the original youth lacrosse program in Worcester County, was found in 1994, providing the very first spring season of organized youth lacrosse on the Lower Eastern Shore. Beach Lacrosse is now over 320 players strong with children playing youth lacrosse from pre-K through 8th grade, but is always looking for new players. To that end, registration for the 2015 season is now open. To register, visit www.beachlax.org. Beach Lacrosse also offers financial assistance with registration fees for anyone in need.

Beach Lacrosse will again field multiple teams for boys and girls at different levels including under-9, under-11, under-13 and under-15. For those in pre-K or kindergarten, or for those just starting out in lacrosse, Beach offers a Scoopers Program for both boys and girls.

Beach Lacrosse is a member of the Eastern Shore Youth Lacrosse Association and plays games against teams from all over the shore including Dorchester, Caroline, Talbot, Queen Anne’s and Kent County in Maryland and Sussex and Kent Counties in Delaware. All practices and home games are held in Berlin. Practice will begin in the beginning of March and games, which will be held on Saturday, are set to begin on March 21.

Beach Lacrosse is also actively seeking volunteer coaching assistance at all age levels as well as volunteers for various club-related activities. For further questions, contact the club at [email protected].
