OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s girls winter basketball league continued last week with several games at Northside Park. The following in a quick look at some of the action:
• OC Parrotheads 11- Taylor’s Restaurant 9: Brittyn Leonard led all scorers with seven points, while Jessica Delisi pitched in five.
• Baja Amusement 28- OC Elks 6: Chloe Rudd scored 14 points, or half of her team’s total, to lead Baja over the Elks. Zina Sbih scored eight for Baja in the win.
• OC Rec Boosters 18- Carousel Hotel 14: Nadia Bullock, Raychel Ehlers and Hannah Lydic each scored eight points in the game.
• OC Rec and Parks 10- OC Rec Boosters 6: Hailey Merritt scored six points, Demma Hammad scored four and Abigail Yesko added three in the contest.
