OCEAN CITY — A West Ocean City man is being held on first-degree assault and other charges following an incident in Ocean City last Thursday night when he allegedly stabbed another local man multiple times in the groin.

Around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, Ocean City Police responded to a residence in the ocean block of 90th Street for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, OCPD officers located a 23-year-old victim who had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation with a suspect later identified as Aaron Lewis Million, 22, of West Ocean City.

The investigation revealed prior to the incident, the unidentified victim’s girlfriend had been staying with Million for a short period of time following a falling out of some kind with the victim. When the woman went back to the victim’s residence to attempt to reconcile their relationship, Million insisted on going with her.

Shortly after their arrival at the 90th Street residence, Million and the victim began a physical altercation during which Million allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times in the groin. Million then fled the scene and was located a short time later at a nearby convenience store.

Ocean City EMS transported the victim to PRMC where he was listed in serious but stable condition. Million has been charged with first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and other weapons-related charges. Million had a preliminary hearing and was ordered to be held on a $60,000 bond.
