BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity soccer team rebounded from its first loss of the season last week with a 3-0 over Salisbury Christian at home on Tuesday.

The Mallards had started the season with a perfect 5-0 mark before falling to old rival Saints Peter and Paul, 1-0, on the road last Thursday. The Mallards had beaten the Sabres at home, 1-0, back on September 19.

On Tuesday, the Worcester girls rebounded from their first setback with a 3-0 win over Salisbury Christian. Both teams had opportunities in the first half, but could not punch it in and the score was 0-0 at the intermission.

Worcester asserted itself on offense in the second half, scoring three goals to pull away. The Mallards got single goals from Molly Soule, Torri Barros and Kaylee Dickson in the second half to secure the 3-0 win and improve to 6-1 on the season.
