OCEAN CITY- The Angler Lacrosse Club’s boys’ 13-14 team continued its run of success in the early summer tournament season, winning the championship in their age bracket at the prestigious Hogan’s Summer Exposure tournament in Annapolis last weekend.
In late May, the Angler Lacrosse Club, sponsored by the iconic downtown bayfront restaurant, came close at the Lax Splash Tournament in Baltimore against some of the best clubs in the mid-Atlantic region, reaching the finals in their division before falling in the championship game. Last weekend at Hogan’s Summer Exposure, the Angler club bashed through that door, going 6-0 in the tournament to capture the championship. Hogan’s Summer Exposure is one of the largest youth and high school tournaments in Maryland with 280 teams competing in various divisions this year.
