Rotary Club Of Salisbury Presents Its Most Prestigious Award

The Rotary Club of Salisbury presented its most prestigious award, the 2014 4-Way Test Award, to Vernon Rivers, right, on May 1. An educator and school administrator by profession, Rivers retired from the New York educational system in 1991 and relocated to Salisbury. Since then he has served on or led a number of various local Boards including Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council, Deer’s Head Foundation, MidShore Family YMCA, and the Institute of Retired Persons.
