“90 Seconds” a New Kind of Surf Contest

OCEAN CITY- An Ocean City restaurant owner is collaborating with the local surfing community to produce a new contest for the digital age with the launch of its “90 Seconds” surf movie featuring standouts from around Delmarva whose exploits will be featured and voted on at a movie release later this summer.

Eugene Stiltner, owner of Crazy 8’s Sandwiches, Soups and Salads attached to the K-Coast surf shop on 35th Street is collaborating with Delaware pro Colin Herlihy on the exciting new project. Many of the top local surfers in the region, including but not limited to Simon Hetrick, Brad Flora, Dillon Harrington, Sam Deeley, Seth Conboy, Brian Stoehr, Jordan O’Boyle, Jason Wilson, Timmy Dwyer and Herlihy himself have been invited to submit 90-second video clips of their best sessions.

The 90-second clips will be released online through the collaboration’s website and Facebook page and ultimately edited into a movie. The movie will be shown at Crazy 8’s and K-Coast on July 31 and the crowd will have the opportunity to vote in person for their favorite segment. The winner will be decided by the attendees and will walk away with a great prize package and bragging rights for the year.
