Decatur Girls Improve To 7-0 On Season

BERLIN- Stephen Decatur’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team an unbeaten record into the holiday break after beating Wicomico last Thursday.

The Seahawks scalped the Indians, 22-2, to improve to 7-0 on the season. During the 7-0 run to start the season, the Seahawks have now outscored their opponents 100-20, for an average of just over 14 goals per game compared to just under three goals per game given up.

With a favorable schedule down the stretch, it appears the Seahawks might be capable of running the table. The Decatur girls have a rematch with Wicomico on the road this afternoon and finish up with home games against Easton and Bennett, followed by a road game against Parkside in the regular season finale. The Seahawks have already beaten Bennett, 18-0, and Parkside, 14-5, this season.
