Worcester Girls Jump Out to 2-0 Start

BERLIN- Worcester Prep’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team got their delayed season off to a fast start, beating St. Mary’s Ryken, 17-10, on the road last Saturday, followed by a 17-1 shellacking of Salisbury School on the road on Monday.

The Mallards traveled to St. Mary’s Ryken in Southern Maryland last Saturday for the season opener and came away with an impressive 17-10 win. On Monday, the Worcester girls traveled to ESIAC rival Salisbury School and poured it on the Dragons with a 17-1 win to start the 2014 campaign with a 2-0 record. The Worcester girls travel to Tower Hill this afternoon and will have a rematch with Salisbury School at home next Tuesday.
