Decatur Sending 10 Swimmers To Regionals

BERLIN- They aren’t sure when they’ll compete yet, but Stephen Decatur’s unbeaten girls’ varsity swim team is sending 10 girls to the state regional meet.

The winter storm that has inundated much of the state has forced postponements of many sports events across Maryland including the regional swim meets scheduled for late this week. When the regional swim meets are rescheduled, Decatur’s unbeaten girls team will be sending 10 swimmers to compete in various events including Carly Deickman, Hailey Williams, Kailey Mihavetz, Katie Bear, Madison Tinus, Maria Zweifel, Marly Rakow, Molly Wooten, Rachel Bourne and Zainab Mirza.
