Stephen Decatur High School senior Brooke Elliot, right, was named the winner of the Poetry Out Loud competition held during American Education Week beating out 13 others with her theatrical poetry recitations. Elliot now advances to compete at the county level. Senior Sarah Hill (center) placed second and senior James Kvarda placed third.
