BERLIN- Worcester Prep honored its fall sports season standouts last week with a special awards ceremony.
Players from all of the Mallards’ fall sports teams were recognized for their accomplishments during the 2013 season. For the boys’ varsity soccer team, Ryan Nally was named Most Valuable Player, while Sam Deeley was recognized with the Coach’s Award and J.B. Loomis was named Most Improved. On the varsity golf team, Billy Brittingham was named MVP, Jason Cook was honored with the Coach’s Award and Jon Ruddo was named Most Improved.
From the Mallards’ girls’ varsity soccer team, Alissa Talbert was named MVP, Lilly DiNardo was honored with the Coach’s Award and Julia D’Antonio was named Most Improved. Cecily Sass was named MVP of the varsity volleyball team, McKenna Shanahan won the Coach’s Award and Karlie Southcomb was named Most Improved. From the conference champion girls’ varsity field hockey team, Meg Lingo was named MVP, Jordie Loomis was honored with the Coach’s Award and Libby Truitt was named Most Improved.
