FRUITLAND – Apple Discount Drugs has announced the addition of Michael Dunn to the Apple Infusion team.
Dunn comes to Apple from Delmarva Public Radio as the director of corporate support and more recently interim general manager. He is a near lifelong resident of Salisbury.
He brings 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales to the job from his work with Sanofi Aventis Pharmaceuticals.
“Mike’s long standing relationships within the community will serve him, and the business well, in marketing Apple Infusion,” said Jeff Sherr, President, Apple Discount Drugs and Apple Infusion. “His experience in pharmaceutical sales and background in marketing and communications will undoubtedly help our infusion business grow and reach a broader customer-base.”
Dunn, who will serve as marketing director of Apple Infusion, said, “Apple Infusion and Jeff Sherr have a fantastic reputation in the community as a health care provider and as a fully integrated supporter of so many local causes. When I first met Jeff in the 1980’s, during my time as a drug rep, Apple was known then, as it is now, as a first class company striving to put its customers and employees first. That appealed to me. Working with Apple and the people who have helped make it what it is has been fantastic.”
