Worcester Prep Students Raise Funds For Diakonia
Community B62

Worcester Prep students Maya ZiaShakeri and Kendall Whaley of Berlin have a passion to help homeless individuals and families.  After doing some research online, they decided to raise funds for Diakonia. They started in July by baking cookies, then took the cookies door to door explaining their project, and asking for donations for Diakonia. They raised $340 and pictured above presenting it to Claudia Nagle, executive director of Diakonia.
