Agent Ranked In Maryland

SALISBURY – Re/Max, LLC recently recognized Holly Campbell for her outstanding performance for the year to date, ending June 30, 2011. Campbell was just named No. 22 of all Re/Max agents in the state of Maryland, a considerable accomplishment given the turbulent housing market.

Accountant Earns Degree

OCEAN CITY — Emilee Snader of Gregory & Associates, LLC received a Master of Science degree in Forensic Studies with a concentration in accounting from Stevenson University in Stevenson, Md. on July 22.

To obtain the degree, Snader was required to take several legal background courses as well as accounting related courses focusing on fraud detection and investigation techniques. Snader was also required to attend a week-long mock trial where she testified as an expert accounting witness.

Snader is a staff accountant at Gregory & Associates, LLC, a CPA firm in Ocean City.

United Way Staff Changes
SALISBURY — The United Way of the Eastern Shore announced this week some personnel changes.

Five-year United Way veteran Aaron Reid has accepted a new position as Executive Director of the United Way of Warren County in Ohio. Reid worked for United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore since 2006 and served as assistant director since 2008. During his span at United Way, Reid helped to raise over $6 million, funding local programs focused on health, education, and financial assistance.

Amy (Sartorio) Luppens has been promoted to Assistant Director of United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore.  Luppens has served as Donor Relations Director for the organization since August 2010, responsible for marketing and donor relations, as well as the development of the Young Leaders Society.  Luppens rises to the new position with previous experience in marketing and resource development at Johns Hopkins University and the Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Museum Accredited

SALISBURY – Salisbury University’s Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art has achieved accreditation from the American Association of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition for a museum.

Accreditation signifies the Ward Museum has met and exceeded the highest standards of the museum field and is among the best institutions in the country.

“We welcome the entire community to join us in celebrating this achievement of excellence,” said Lora Bottinelli, Ward Museum executive director. “This would not be possible without our generous and loyal community, outstanding volunteers and dedicated staff. The museum’s future is bright due to the support from Salisbury University, our local community and beyond.”

To celebrate, free admission is offered Monday-Sunday, Aug. 15-Oct. 9. The museum has made many additions to its facility, exhibits and educational programs in the past year. This includes renovations to its signature roofline, which will be under construction this fall. These improvements reflect a commitment to engage the community and work toward the highest level of standards of the museum field.

Top Producers Announced

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – ResortQuest Real Estate recently announced July’s top producers for its southeast Sussex County locations.

Dayna Feher of the Bethany Beach office received top honors for listing volume for the month of July.
