OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s boys’ winter basketball league continued this week with a full slate of games at Northside Park. The following is just a sampling of some of the action:
(bullet) Trimper’s 38- OC Rec Boosters 20: Javonshae Farmer and Taveyon Mills each scored 10 points and Zach Mushrush and Jamel Showell each pitched in seven as Trimper’s beat the Boosters.
(bullet) OC/Berlin Optimists 57- OC Rec Boosters 30: Peter Mais scored 17 points, Chris Koester pitched in 14 and David Yakacki added 11 as the Optimists rolled. James Schiffler led the Boosters with 11 points in the loss.
(bullet) Phillips Crab House 29- Dough Roller 28: Jake Lathroum scored a game-high 13 points while Justin Meekins pitched in 12 to lead Phillips over the Dough Roller.
(bullet) Comfort Inn 37- All State Construction 26: Grady Anderson scored 10 points while Cameron Travoli scored nine and Deshawn Drummond pitched in eight as the Comfort Inn breezed past All-State Construction.
(bullet) Key Advisor 39- Outback 22: Collin Macambas and William Howell each scored 12 points to lead Key Advisor over Outback. Talib Rice contributed with 10 points in the victory.
(bullet) PNC Bank 39- Bonfire 18: Jacob Seiders led all scorers with 15 points, while Jesse Bondaile scored 13 and Josh Hazzard added 11 as PNC Bank routed the Bonfire.
(bullet) American Legion 54- OC Elks 28: Daquan Mills scored 13 points and Chris Conover added 10 as the American Legion topped the Elks. Breon Smith led all scorers with 18 points for the Elks in a losing effort.
(bullet) Carousel 45- House of Pancakes 42: Matt Tribett scored 12 points and Ethan Kleinstuber added 11 as the Carousel edged the House of Pancakes in a tight contest. D.J. Johnson scored a game-high 17 points for House of Pancakes in the loss.
