OCEAN CITY- The Ocean City Recreation and Parks Department’s fall youth soccer league is in full swing with hundreds of young players roaming the fields around Northside Park. The following is a quick look at some recent league action:
(bullet) OC Rec Boosters 2- Ocean City FOP 1: Willy Cooley and Trey Harman each scored one goal to lead the Boosters over the FOP. Nate Langan scored the lone goal for the FOP.
(bullet) OC Rec Boosters 1- OC/Berlin Optimists 0; Tate Shockley scored the game’s only goal as the Boosters topped the Optimists in a tight game, 1-0.
(bullet) OC Rec Boosters 4- Delmarva Irish American Club 1: Trey Harman scored a hat trick and Willy Cooley added a single goal as the Boosters prevailed. Ali McLoota scored the Irish Club’s only goal.
(bullet) First Home Mortgage 4- American Legion 2: Josiah Magee and Adam Pizza scored two goals each to lead First Home Mortgage over the Legion. Hannah Fauntleroy scored two goals for the American Legion in defeat.
(bullet) Phillips Crab House 2- OC Rec Boosters 0: Evan Heim and Danny Beck led Phillips over the Boosters with one goal each.
(bullet) ABBA Bail Bonds 4- OC Rec Boosters 1: Christiana Diakos scored three goals for ABBA while Dan Parker added a single tally. Claire Dorey scored one goal for her team in the loss.
(bullet) Phillips Crab House 3- ABBA Bail Bonds 0: Danny Beck scored two goals and Evan Heim scored one to lead Phillips in the shutout win over ABBA.
(bullet) Ocean City FOP 3- Delmarva Irish American Club 1: The FOP edged the Irish, 2-1, behind a two goal effort by Nick Casey. Nate Langan also scored for the FOP. Matt Calcagno scored the only goal for the Irish in the loss.
(bullet) OC/Berlin Optimists 2- Fresco’s Restaurant 0: Scott Berry and Kenny Kerns each scored single goals to lead the Optimists over Fresco’s.
(bullet) Dr. William Allen DDS 2- OC Rec Boosters 1: Dr. Allen’s team defeated the Boosters, 2-1, behind a pair of goals by Trent Chetelat and Cameron Hall.
(bullet) Dr. William Allen DDS 1- OC/Berlin Optimists 0: In yet another close contest, Dr. Allen’s team edged the Optimists 1-0. Trent Chetelat led Dr. Allen’s team with a single goal.
(bullet) OC Elks Lodge 1- PNC Bank 0: Connor Boyle scored the game’s only goal as the Elks edged PNC Bank, 1-0.
(bullet) Atlantic General Hospital 1- OC Elks 0: AGH topped the Elks behind a single goal by Yuri Andrews.
