A Week In Business

Doctor Now In Fenwick

BERLIN – Barbara Socha, M.D., a physician with nearly two
decades of experience in internal medicine who recently opened a practice in
Ocean View, Del. is now seeing patients in an additional location in Fenwick
Island.

Socha has joined the practice of Nicholas Borodulia, M.D.
at the Fenwick Medical Center – now an Atlantic General Health System location
– to serve the ever-increasing demand for healthcare in the area.

Borodulia entered into the agreement with the Atlantic
General Health System to ensure, as well, that his increased duties as medical
director of the Atlantic General Hospital’s Stroke Center do not interfere with
his patients’ need for prompt office-based medical care.

“Collaborating with Dr. Socha, who is board certified in
internal medicine, is a perfect fit for my patients and the healthcare needs in
this area,” said Borodulia. “Although I am still taking new patients, I
encourage my patients to seek an appointment with Socha if my schedule does not
allow for an immediate opening.”

Last May, Socha left her practice of 16 years with
Maryland Family Care in the Baltimore area as well as her positions as senior
attending physician at Saint Agnes Hospital and attending staff physician at
Mercy Hospital in Baltimore to join Atlantic General Health System.

Socha is currently accepting new patients and will
continue to see patients at her Ocean View location on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 1-7 p.m. and Fridays 1-4 p.m. Patients can schedule an appointment at this
location by calling 302-541-4460.

She will be seeing patients at the Fenwick Medical Center
on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. Patients can schedule an appointment at this location by calling
302-539-2399.

As a physician with the Atlantic General Hospital and
Health System, Socha now accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware.
