Leading up to the Thanksgiving holiday, Ocean City Elementary School pre-kindergarten students learned about Thanksgiving. They discovered how the Native Americans helped the pilgrims grow food and live off the land and how the Pilgrims showed the Native Americans how to build houses and preserve food. Stephen Decatur High School senior Lucia Vicidomini was just one of over 90 blood donors during the annual Key Club blood drive on Nov. 18. Each year the school is in the running to be the top donation site on the lower Easter Shore for the Blood Bank of Delmarva.

Faith Murray’s fourth grade class from Ocean City Elementary School enjoyed a Chick-fil-A luncheon in their classroom with some of Ocean City firefighters.  This was a special treat they earned for having 100% participation in the fire department’s annual Fire Prevention Week Essay and Poster contest.
