Stephen Decatur High School was one of the recipients of the 2013 Exxon Education for Excellence grants and received $1,000. The money will promote math and science education. On behalf of the school, Co-Principal Kathy Cater accepted two $500 checks from Ocean Petroleum representative Steve Ladd.
