The Retired Nurses of Ocean Pines recently presented a check for $1,000 to Toni Keiser, Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing of Atlantic General Hospital, benefiting the James G. and Nancy W. Rina Thaler, executive director of the Ocean City Center for the Arts, presented a check for $783 to Bob Baker, vice-president of the Worcester County Humane Society. The funds were raised during February’s creative fundraising events at the arts center, including the Animals in Art exhibit, Pet Portraits and Sip and Ceramics.

Worcester County Commissioner Joe Mitrecic and State Senator Jim Mathias are pictured with Temple Bat Yam 50/50 raffle winner Phyllis Alpern. The winning ticket was drawn at the Ocean City Home and Condo Show last weekend at Convention Center and was worth over $4,000.

Aaron Powers, representative from the Berlin Little League, accepted this month a sponsorship donation of $450 from Ocean City, Chapter 1091 of the Vietnam Veterans of America.
