At its monthly meeting in June, Ravens Roost #44 of Ocean City awarded its annual scholarship awards to six students from the three local high schools. On the last day of school at Worcester Prep, kindergartners Alexandra Gallagher, Bethany Beach, Logan Derrickson, Rehoboth Beach, Baylie Holmes, Bishopville, and Abby Reynolds, Fenwick Island, have a great time positioning themselves in the cubbies, where they’ve kept their books, coats and lunch boxes throughout the school year.

Rising Worcester Prep seventh-grade student Molly Soule´, Ocean City, was a winner in the 2009 Veterans of Foreign Wars patriotic essay competition.
