Pre-kindergarten students Alex Abu-Zaid and Brianne Watson at Ocean City Elementary used their senses during a science activity. Students explored the inside and outside of several different sized pumpkins. Students used describing words like squishy, slimy, sticky and smooth to describe the inside of the pumpkin.

Members of Stephen Decatur Middle School’s Environmental Club planted native shrubs, including Bayberry and Sweetspire, near outdoor classrooms to help manage storm water runoff.
