It was another windy day today in and around Ocean City with stiff breezes out of the south for the majority of the day.  I fished the Thorofare with Captain Marc Spagnola of Dusk to Dawn Bowfishing where Marc caught one keeper flounder of 17.5″ on a chartreuse Deadly Double, and we had to deal with the south wind all morning.  The breeze picked up even more this afternoon keeping with the theme of a very windy spring so far.  Hopefully we’ve got calmer weather patterns to come as the season progresses.  Thankfully, there’s some good fishing regardless.

Captain Jason Mumford of Lucky Break Charters had a couple of nice trips today despite the windy conditions.  This morning it was some catch and release rockfish action and this afternoon it was four keeper flounder for the cooler.

This afternoon, Captain Dave Caffrey and his crew aboard On the Run Charters had a great day with keeper flounder and keeper tautog for the cleaning table at Bahia Marina.

Curt Presnell had a great day of flounder fishing in VA the other day when he used orange Deadly Doubles to catch his limit of nice flounder.
