Diakonia Seeks New Executive Director

BERLIN — The Board of Directors of Diakonia has announced a leadership reorganization, accepting the resignation of Claudia Nagle as executive director effective immediately.   Nagle was thanked for her years of service to Diakonia and wished the best with future endeavors.

Additionally, the Board of Directors announced the reorganizing of the executive committee.  The executive leadership of the board will now include Allyson Bernard-Church, chairperson; Beth Rodier, senior vice chairperson; Reid Tingle, vice chairperson-finance; Carol Parker Rose, vice chairperson-administration; and Tracy Tilghman, vice chairperson-development.

The board is currently conducting a search for an executive director.  The Executive Leadership will support the dedicated staff in managing daily operations until such time as a new executive director has been hired.

The board is confident the reorganization along with continued strategic review better supports Diakonia and its growth to support those in need in our community.
