Berlin Vehicle Thefts Investigated

BERLIN — The Berlin Police Department is investigating a series of thefts from unlocked vehicles in town over a three-week period that began in late September.

The Berlin Police Department received multiple accounts of vehicles being broken into Sept. 25 through Oct. 18. Most of the thefts occurred during the late night or early morning hours. The department is urging citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police.

In addition, anyone who thinks he or she might have been a victim during the recent vehicle theft spree is urged to contact the department at 410-641-1333.

Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and remove any valuables for them. Also, anyone with video surveillance systems at their residence are urged to footage and report any suspicious activity to the police department.
