Ocean Pines Players To Present Patriotic Musical Revue
Ocean Pines

BERLIN – Start your Independence Day celebration early with an upbeat multimedia musical revue, produced by the Ocean Pines Players, for the whole family that celebrates the country and all its principles.

In this one-time showing, the talented cast of adults and children will perform both classic and modern patriotic songs as well as entertaining and moving dramatic readings.  There are many opportunities to sing along as well as a special appreciation for veterans and service members.

Just a few of the classic songs include You’re a Grand Old Flag, The Yankee Doodle Boy, This Is My Country, Shenandoah, What A Wonderful World, Strike Up the Band and God Bless America.  Laugh along with 50 Nifty United States, a special song about living right here in Delmarva, and a wacky “history” of the country as seen through the eyes of American high school students. Attendees will listen to a powerful poem and stirring historic words.

The show is set to take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at 5 p.m. Seats are $10 for adults and kids are free. Children will receive goodie bags and the Ocean Pines Players will provide free cookies and drinks at intermission. Seating is limited so reservations are strongly encouraged.  Call 410-600-0462 for reservations and information.

Funding for this event is provided in part by the Worcester County Arts Council, Maryland State Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, organizations dedicated to cultivating a vibrant cultural community where the arts thrive.
