Doggie Talent Show, Contest On Saturday

OCEAN CITY — The Downtown Recreation Complex on 4th Street welcomes residents and visitors this weekend to show off their furry friend as well as mingle with other members of the Ocean City dog community.

On top of a the talent show, there will also be a fast catch contest and professional dog trainer Lori Ellison-Opdyke will also set up an obstacle course for dogs to showcase their skills. Prizes will be awarded for both small and large breed divisions.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 6, at the Downtown Recreation Complex on 4th Street from 10 a.m. to noon. Dog owners of all ages are welcome. The cost is only $10 per dog. This event is great for families who love to get out and about with their dog, new owners working on socialization skills and for any dog owner wanting to have fun.

Please remember your dog must remain on its leash while inside the park, except for in the fenced in section where they will be able to perform and run the obstacle course. In the event of inclement weather, this event will be cancelled.
