Berlin Intermediate School Heavenly Hats Spirit Day Raises Over $500

Berlin Intermediate School recently held a Heavenly Hats Spirit Day during which students for a $1 donation had the privilege of wearing a favorite hat to school to raise money for the Heavenly Hats Foundation, an organization what has donated over three million brand new hats to cancer patients at hospitals and clinics around the country. The BIS Heavenly Hats event, organized by Stephen Decatur senior Lexie VanKirk as a community service project, raised over $500 for the organization.
