Paige McAdams, Damira Hill, Aarnav Tiwari, Nicolas Rittersbacher and Julianna Wooden in Jennifer Spicer’s kindergarten class at Ocean City Elementary School followed a recipe to make Stone Soup after reading the folk tale in class.
Students in grades 4 through 8 competed in the first annual Wicomico Day School National Geographic Geography Bee on Jan. 10. The winner was seventh grader Ryan Townsend and first runner up was fifth grader Austin Dalfonso. Townsend is pictured with school Administrative Head Michael Detmer.
