Restaurant Week Returns May 5

OCEAN CITY — Restaurant Week, a popular event that showcases the area’s culinary talents at special prices, returns next month for its spring installment, beginning on May 5 and continuing until May 19.

Organized by the non-profit, Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association (OCHMRA), this event is a celebration of local cuisine and great deals. It provides diners with the chance to experience new restaurants while supporting the local economy.

During Restaurant Week, participating restaurants create menus around different price points, ranging from $10 to $40 (excluding beverages, tax, and gratuity).

“Having fixed prices allows diners to budget a day or evening out, while at the same time, Restaurant Week allows the chefs to exhibit their culinary talents and introduce new foods." said Event Manager Amy Tingle.

More than 25 restaurants are offering special menus, so to best plan your culinary adventure, browse participant menus posted on the event website, www.oceancityrestaurantweek.com. For more information, call the OCHMRA at 410-289-6733.
