SH Elementary Students Create Pinwheels
Cindy Sullivan, art teacher of Snow Hill Elementary, coordinated the Pinwheels for Peace project this year. Students created pinwheels as part of the creation process, then the students wrote or discussed about what peace meant to them on one side. SD High School Students Participate As Face Painters At Bounce Out Bullying Event
Stephen Decatur High School junior Paige Bradford, sophomores Christina Van Vonno, Serena Craven, and juniors Cora Cox, and Ciara Wright participated as face painters at the inaugural Bounce Out Bullying event sponsored by the Acts of Kindness organization and the Student Government Association.

Souleé Named Semifinalis In National Merit Scholarship
