Kiwanis of OP/OC Welcomes Guest Speaker

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Ocean Pines-Ocean City heard from Wayne Littleton, director of the Believe in Tomorrow Children’s Foundation, at its March meeting. Since 1986, Believe In Tomorrow has provided over 300,000 overnight accommodations, helping families stay together in the midst of a medical crisis.

Rotary Club Donates Literacy Gift to Showell Elementary

Ocean City/Berlin Rotary Service Projects Director Tom Bickerstaff delivered 120 dictionaries for third grade students at Showell Elementary School. Students Jack Rosenberg, Isabella Yeager, and Rachel Haskill, along with Vice Principal Aaron Dale, accepted the generous literacy gift. The Rotarian gift allows each student to have a dictionary in their backpack to complete homework assignments.
